Technical Sales Consultant (Part time or Full Time) (m/f/d)

This is is looking for a motivated Technical Sales Consultant to join our Customer Success and Sales team. is a leading integration Platform as a Service (iPaaS) accelerating customer’s data integration projects and simplifying management of data integrations. If you enjoy working in a dynamic organization, with cool software, and in a rapidly growing application area then this could be the role for you. GmbH is a subsidiary of mVISE AG. mVISE AG is an IT Professional Services organization with Offices throughout Germany and is focused on building IT infrastructure, integrating and analysing data, and creating commercial software solutions for their clients. Clients of include Krombacher, Dr Oetker, Deutsche Telekom, and App Direct to name but a few.

As Technical Sales Consultant you will actively work with multiple departments and clients to understand needs, propose and demonstrate solutions, and drive deals to closing. In your role you will help leads to understand how they can leverage the power of the platform. Our Sales team will rely on your technical and product expertise throughout the sales cycle. You will play an integral role in the success of our customers by performing technical discovery qualification, making recommendations for implementation of the solution, delivering product demonstrations, workshops and much more.

As a customer advocate, you will also play a valuable role in feeding back voice of customer to our Product Owner and developer teams.

This is not a pure sales role, it’s much more focused on consultatively engaging with leads and prospects to ensure we understand their needs and so they have confidence in our technology and that the implementation will meet their needs. For this reason, we see this role as fitting someone with a good technical knowledge of enterprise software and/or integration projects, and the interpersonal skills to engage in open discussion with clients.

What your roadmap to success looks like:

3 months:

  • Complete onboarding, including shadowing and mentoring
  • Become conversant with our iPaaS technology
  • Embed into your internal network of stakeholders
  • Get proficient in using our CRM and other internal information systems
  • Go solo in initial sales calls & make your first product demonstrations
  • Qualify your first few incoming Leads to Sales Qualified and create deals
  • receive continuous Feedback and Coaching by your Peers and Manager

12 months:

  • Complete at least 1 certified training
  • Regularly perform product demonstrations to leads and prospects according to their needs
  • Land your first Enterprise Sales
  • Take the lead in at least 2 customer-facing projects
  • Deliver regular inputs to Product Owner and development stakeholders and participate as ‘sparring partner’ Partner
  • Collaborate with marketing on promotional activities such as blogs, webinars, industry events, etc.
  • Develop Proofs of Concept (PoCs) as part of an account team to demonstrate the art of the possible

We believe you will need the following to be successful:

  • B.S. Computer Science, Software Engineering, MIS or equivalent work experience
  • Track record of blending aspects of the following - presales support, solution consultancy, or training success for a software solution organisation. Unsure if you fit? Contact us and ask – at we’re flexible!
  • Good understanding of business requirements in application and data integration projects.
  • Experiences with Software or Web Development e.g. Java, C, Python, Middleware and Integration or SaaS and Cloud Technologies
  • Convincing presentation skills and the ability to project composure and competence to technical and business audiences
  • An active listener, generating trust through empathy and insight
  • Ability to work as part of a team to solve problems and deliver solutions under pressure
  • The skills to ask the right questions that uncover customer motivation and the root causes of requirements
  • Willingness to travel occasionally
  • Fluent English – additional languages a bonus
